The MSc programme

“Master in Law & Economics” of the University of Piraeus in London

21.05.2017-25.05.2017

The MSc programme “Master in Law & Economics” of the University of Piraeus has just successfully completed its first educational trip in London, in May of 2017.

More specifically, the programme visited:

  • The Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) at Queen Mary University
  • The Clyde & International Law Firm
  • The Royal Courts of Justice

Graduate students had the opportunity to benefit from the experience of academic staff and industry executives, thanks to the lectures which were specially organised for us, at Queen Mary University’s CCLS and at the Clyde & Co. law firm.

The educational trip also included a day-long guided tour at the Royal Courts of Justice and was completed with a tour in locations and buildings which hold significance in the legal industry.

The knowledge obtained by graduate students in this multicultural environment and the network they built was the fundamental goal of the MSc programme “Master in Law & Economics”.

This educational trip was made possible by the efforts of the programme’s director, professor Victoria Pekka-Economou, to promote the programme internationally, help students build an academic network and provide them with career opportunities.
